Go-to-Market Remote

Sales Operations Specialist

Own the day-to-day administration, build-out, and optimization of Salesforce and the broader sales technology stack for a growing go-to-market team.

About the role

Moderne’s revenue organization is growing quickly, and the systems, data, and processes that support the team need to scale right alongside it. We’re looking for a Sales Operations Specialist to own the day-to-day administration, build-out, and optimization of Salesforce and our broader sales technology stack.

This is a hands-on, individual contributor role for someone who wants deep ownership of the tools that power a growing go-to-market team. You’ll be the person Sales, Marketing, and leadership turn to when something in the tech stack needs to be built, fixed, cleaned up, or connected.

This role reports to the SVP of Global Sales. It is full-time and remote.

What you’ll do

Salesforce administration and build-out

  • Serve as Moderne’s primary Salesforce administrator: manage users, roles, permissions, page layouts, record types, validation rules, workflows, and automation (Flow).
  • Build and maintain custom objects, fields, reports, and dashboards that give Sales and leadership clear visibility into pipeline, forecasting, and performance.
  • Own data hygiene and integrity within Salesforce, including deduplication, data enrichment, and standardization, so the team can trust the numbers.
  • Design and implement scalable Salesforce processes (lead routing, territory and account assignment, opportunity stages, quoting) that hold up as headcount continues to grow.

Sales technology administration

  • Administer and optimize the broader sales technology stack, including ZoomInfo, SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Manage integrations and data flow between Salesforce and these tools, troubleshooting sync issues and ensuring a clean, connected tech ecosystem.
  • Evaluate new tools and features as the team scales, making recommendations on what to add, consolidate, or retire.
  • Own license management, renewals, and vendor relationships for core sales tools in partnership with the SVP of Global Sales.

Reporting, process, and enablement

  • Build and maintain reporting and dashboards that support weekly forecasting, pipeline reviews, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Document and continuously improve standard operating procedures for CRM usage, lead-to-opportunity workflows, and sales tech adoption.
  • Partner with Sales leadership to identify process bottlenecks and translate them into system or workflow improvements.
  • Support onboarding of new sales hires by ensuring they’re set up correctly across Salesforce and the sales tech stack from day one.

Cross-functional collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing Operations to ensure clean handoffs between marketing automation platforms and Salesforce (lead scoring, routing, campaign attribution).
  • Partner with Finance on data needed for revenue reporting, commissions, and forecasting accuracy.
  • Act as a key point of contact for day-to-day user support and troubleshooting requests across the revenue org.

What we’re looking for

  • 2–5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or CRM administration.
  • Strong, hands-on understanding of Salesforce administration. This is a core requirement, not a nice-to-have. You should be comfortable building out and maintaining objects, fields, page layouts, Flows, validation rules, reports, and dashboards without heavy guidance (Salesforce Admin certification a plus, not required).
  • Working familiarity with core sales technologies such as ZoomInfo, SalesLoft (or similar sales engagement platforms), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and marketing automation tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and a genuine interest in data quality, process, and systems.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment where priorities shift and the job includes wearing multiple hats.
  • Clear communicator who can work directly with sales reps and leadership to understand needs and translate them into system solutions.

Preferred

  • Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201) certification.
  • Experience supporting a sales team through a period of significant headcount growth.
  • Exposure to marketing automation platforms (for example HubSpot, Marketo, or Pardot) and lead lifecycle and attribution concepts.
  • Basic understanding of sales compensation, forecasting, or pipeline management concepts.
  • Experience in enterprise software, developer tools, or a technical B2B sales environment.
